Our childhood dreams from One Thousand and One Nights are one step closer to becoming reality.
Scientists just discovered that a small carpet with a length of 10 centimetres and a thickness of 0.1 millimetres can float above the ground in a fluid if it vibrates at about 10 hertz (10 waves per second). It would even be possible for the carpet to move. The rippling produces a high-pressure area underneath the carpet which lifts it. It’s not possible yet to make a human-sized carpet, because more powerful vibrations would be needed.
Maybe one day our children have a new and interesting way of going to school, all thanks to aerodynamics!

Hi Inge
Thank you for your blog. It was an interesting one with an attractive picture which draws the reader’s attention. The blog has a clear message, good flow, good grammar and vocabulary. Nice conclusion: starting with “may be”, showing positivity .Concluding sentence makes a link with the first sentence (starting paragraph), I like that.
Perhaps you could have included a topic or main sentence to make a perfect structure of the blog. Your concluding sentence should have been written as:
Maybe one day our children could have a new and ……..
rather than
Maybe one day our children have a new and ………
Overall it was a positive blog. I did enjoy reading it. Great job
