American spy satellite, USA 193 was launched in December 14, 2006. The satellite was launched successfully into the space but failed to function a year before. The satellite carried hydrazine which is a hazardous toxic gas which can pose potential risks to humans once entered to the earth surface. The US Navy launched the SM-S missile to completely destroy the satellite that was coming to closer to the earth atmosphere. On the 20th of February, 2008, the satellite destruction was successfully done which used interesting physics applications. This initiative has raised controversy from other countries regarding the mission since the final fate of the debris is not known.

It is a very up-to-date topic, the tilte and picute are attracted me to read it.I really like the simple vocabularies ,they are easy to be understood. There are some passive sentences make the structure flexible.
But perhaps,I would like you change “before”to “ago”,”physics”to “physical”,do you agree with me?
Anyway,it is a very nice blog,I enioy it very much.Good job

Thanks Erwin for an interesting blog. However, you could improve on it in some areas.
Mind the use of articles (especially THE)
THE American spy satellite, USA 193 was launched in December 14, 2006. The satellite was launched successfully into the (leave out THE here) space but failed to function a year before.
The US Navy launched the SM-S missile to completely destroy the satellite that was coming to closer (too close, not to closer) to the earth atmosphere.
The next sentence is a bit wordy
On the 20th of February, 2008, the satellite destruction was successfully done which used interesting physics applications.
Compare with: On 20 February, the missile successfully destroyed the satellite.
Good link using 'this'
This initiative has raised controversy from other countries regarding the mission since the final fate of the debris is not known.
